The Graduate Management Admission Test or GMAT is a computer test intended to assess analytical, writing, verbal and reading skills written in English for use in a graduate management admission program, such as an MBA.

A way to prepare for the GMAT is a GMAT prep course. There are many companiesthat offer the GMAT prep course and many ways to use their services, such as:

GMAT Self Study: Self-paced learning using your computer. Learn at home, at a coffee shop or where ever there is Wi-Fi.

On-line Tutoring: This is best for test retakers and working professionals. Expert tutors have years of experience working with GMAT exams.

One-on-One Tutoring: A tutor will sit side-by-side with you and prepare a customized course to focus on your specific needs.

The questions you have to ask yourself are, how do I learn best? Should I take a practice GMAT test?

To prepare for the actual test, it may be best to take the GMAT practice test. This will show you where you need to concentrate your studies. The practice GMAT tests can be found online on different GMAT prep sites. Those sites will direct you to the best tutors that have experience in only GMAT prep. They will have the books and materials available for you to purchase a hard copy or access online. 



If you Google "GMAT prep course" you will find pages and pages of resources. Look for accreditation and experience. You can also find a page onGMAT prep course rankings. It's always a good thing to find the best fit for you. There are different price points and different ways to prepare for your GMAT.
